I get a lot of manga and anime and I want to start making some short films in 3D. Im only 13 and I need somthing free to download and easy, I tried Blender, but its so hard and I’m confused, could not understand. I just need something with something too powerful to be used so that it can circulate and 3D, I want to try Lightwave, but I’m a Windows user. I want a Mac, but as I told my parents and choosing not to buy the computer myself.

    The only one I know of is called “Maya.” It’s high-end, but they will let you try it for free. It comes with a very nice tutorial. It’s a college-professional level program.

    Well… Lili, I think the best program for you is 3D studio max 7, and I think 3D studio max 7 is more easy to use and to understand than Maya. So many Tutorial at the Internet.
    Well I hope my suggestion can help you find your best program.
    Good Luck then..

    AVOID Poser 7 or any other Poser program. Waste fo time, space, and money.

    Perhaps 3Ds Max or Maya. If you have the computer space and skills to operate them.

    I think Maya was used to make graphics in Peter Jackson’s King Kong and final fantasy advent children.

    Well AutoDesk Maya, 3ds Max and XSI are very capable software, which can be used to make a 3d movie. A, 30 day trail version is available on their respective websites. But i do suggest you stick with blender because making a 3d movie will take a much longer time than 30 days. Blender is quite capable software and on net their are ample websites available with good learning resources. Some resource site is specified below;
