I am looking for an alternative CAD program AutoCAD. I need a low cost, but must use the API as VBA and ARX. Andbody have any suggestions?

I know the IntelliCAD software are at a low cost. They promote them as an alternative to AutoCAD. You may check their members for their product. As far as I know, GStarICAD can meet your requirement about second development interface such as VBA and ARX. However, you can have a check at their website.
