vraysun is not ment to work together with a standart max camera. Turning the sun’s intensity value down to 0.0xxx is like creating a smart workaround around the advantages of the vray skylight system. ;-)
Use a vray physical cam instead, leave the sun’s intensity value where it is at 1.0 and adjust the film speed/shutter speed of the vray physical cam from 200 down to e.g. 30, or something in the range.

  2. pmaterazzi says:

in the tutorial i explain that u must set the intensity to very low levels in the vray sun parameters, something like 0.02

  3. russellmasc says:

    i have a problem….whatever i render comes in bright white…..from any angle…..help plz….is there a way to reduce intensity??…im using 3ds max9 and vray

  4. pmaterazzi says:

awesome work man, answered a lot of questions i had about the vray sun while keeping it simple. now my outdoor scene looks so much better when i actually have an understanding of what the different settings do.

  7. christiebrody says:

  8. pmaterazzi says:

  9. johnnien2 says:

  13. rougeson says:

yeah !it was coloured if i will render it w/ vray light
but if in vray sun light it will be just black and white color.

  14. rougeson says:

  18. Miesvanderhro says:

I am having the same problem as
    Protech14, everything turns white.
I am using Rhino as 3d modeling, and rendering with vray.
I figured it out that it was the physical camera that was making things blasted white.
    Could u help me?

  19. Skyrodude says:

hahahahahahahahahaha sketchup!! whahahahahaha… Use the real software like 3DSmax, Maya, Zbrush etc.. etc.

  20. pmaterazzi says:

write me ur msn or skype and i help you

  21. Protech14 says:

i dont gett it, my settings are exacly the same as yours but i get a Blasted scene, withevery thing turning white like if it was an atomic explosion

  22. pmaterazzi says:

u can use, theres vray for sketch up, but for modelling and texturing 3dsmax normally is much superior

  23. polloxero says:

    why you don,t use sketchup`?

  24. monechee says:
