The two stages of the finished Goblin Bust. Stage one is 2k polys using purely 3dsmax 9. It has a meshsmooth modifier applied to it. (Which i prefer to turbosmooth which seems to melt some of the details more). Stage 2 is a high poly version taken through zbrush. Total time from start to finish under 2.5 hours.

I take my class that uses 3ds Max, but I’m about 10X better in Blender, you can convert files of Blender this way? I just need to mesh data, no bones or animation or something

done in 3dsmax & zbrush Heres the end result of me trying to use several lip sync plug ins and automation tools for max. And so after about 1 hr of getting horrible results with the plug ins I got a pattern down and did it manually…sure it still needs work but this was just a proof of concept for production…
