How to proceed in remaking a multicolor graphic in photoshop?

Written by 3D Max on July 29th, 2010

I have a card that will be dirty. I want to again map to the former as the background. The map is multi-colored with different colors thrown here and there. How to copy idem in Photoshop? Suppose that in the first layer, I used the red primary, as the dark will not be allowed to see the base coat. Can I use my layers behind the primer? Please give me advice.

  1. Tim D says:

Scan or photograph your original, save a copy, insert new layer above the background, fill in your base colour and hide it (by clicking on the eye icon next to the layer) or change the opacity, create a new layer add your secondary colours and so on, finishing with the outlines and text layers.

When you have finished make sure you unhide or put to 100% opacity all the layers you have hidden.
