This particular model just ended up being the subject of a video to demonstrate how fast you can make a concept in zbrush. Specifically organic stuff like teeth and horns.

My finished stuff tends to take longer, and I don’t have the ram available to run the screen recorder and still get good performance. Although I will be putting up turntables of finished stuff soon.

The end result is truly amazing. Have you got a final textured model attached to a body? if so, it would be ace to see it :D .

I adaptive skinned it from the Zspheres I made in the beginning. I also make another adaptive skin from the topology edit I did after sculpting in a rough form.

  8. omegahydra says:

did you adapative skin it, straight away, or did you model in the zbrush, preview before adaptive skin, i am sorta new to this and i wud like to know what way is best =)

ok hahaha i have no clue what you just said there. im sorta a noob with blender. sry never heard of edge loops or anything…….i loved your video by the way!

  11. daevasmodeus says:

Yes, but it was totally worth it.

  12. daevasmodeus says:

Well in Zbrush or a sculpting program, I’d just draw them on with a tablet. Pinch brush is pretty useful for closing up the gaps.

In 3ds Max or Blender I would just insert edge loops capped at each end with quads shaped like tris wherever I wanted a fold of skin.

  13. pistonfan92 says:

i dont think this is blender lol. what have you made so far in blender?

  14. pistonfan92 says:

anybody here know how to make those ripples in faces and things like that? like lips or zits for example….

Im gonna get HL2:EP2 for just one reason: Gmod 2007 :P Im gonna see how expensive it is now couse $10.- is acceptable but if I have to spend like $40.- then I’ll stay with gmod 10 xD
too bad there arent any good zbrush tutorials… and the ones there are I can follow :P

  23. daevasmodeus says:

I haven’t had the chance to play episode 2 yet. Maybe I should pick up Orange Box. Thank you for the complement. :)

  24. OGMO11 says:
