I just received my Canon SLR and I could not be happier with my purchase. I read many reviews about this camera and I must admit that the picture quality is excellent. Canon is known for its ease of use and has not failed. Since this is buy my first SLR, I wanted to make sure that I would not be overwhelmed by too many switches, buttons, etc. Even if I did not read the manual again, I successfully experimented with different settings and I am impressed by the quality of images to date. I intend to read the instructions at the end to get more use out of the camera. Last weekend I took a walk and I was pleasantly surprised to see that many people who use the series Cannon Rebel XSi. Obviously, this camera is a popular choice for good reasons. I think the money spent on this camera is worth.
Rebel XSi – Great DSLR for the price!
For an enthusiast, I was very impressed by the picture quality of this device, especially for the price. I was also impressed by the photos taken with the kit lens, but most use a 28-135mm as a “daily” slow (but much larger and heavier the kit lens). The kit aims simply not possible to zoom in for my typical shooting needs, but the kit lens is probably a better coverage. Still camera settings adjusted to obtain optimal results, but without doubt be improved after the addition of a polarizing filter. Overall, it is lightweight (for a digital SLR), very comfortable in the hand and easy to learn the menu system.
Rebel XSi – Great Entry Level Camera
I moved to my first DSLR a Canon S5 IS. Great car. It feels just right in terms of weight, size and handling. I miss the variety of functions of the S5 had, but I think it was an award for best image quality, interchangeable lenses and shooting versatility. Technically, I could wait another month for T1i, but I decided not to spend $ 200 more for a feature film in my SLR. I can not wait to buy more goals (50 mm to begin with the first) and take some cool pictures. Overall I’m quite happy with my purchase. Why not 5 stars is that buying the kit, I am not surprised at his performance (which may be because I’m new digital SLR). And “certainly the best buy for a feature packed entry level DSLR.
