I heard the Rebel XS can. Basically you connect to your computer via USB or some kind and take the shots or Mess with the menu. IWAS wondering if XSI has this feature?

No.It’s not a web cam.
The older model I have, the XTi, can do live shooting from a computer so I can’t imagine they would have gotten rid of this feature on the newer XSi. The XSi does do shooting via a computer.

Yes, I have the XSi and it can do ‘Remote Shooting’.
You need to look in the Canon Utilities software folder that you most likely have installed on your computer. If you didn’t install it, you should go find the disk and install it (it’s found on the EOS Digital Solutions disk).
Remote Shooting…can be found in the Canon Utilities folder…in ‘EOS Utility’.
